This role is a unique opportunity to join as the first Sales Manager in the DACH region, giving you both strategic influence and the autonomy to shape market growth with capital equipment manufacturers, OEMs, and channel partners. About the Role As Sales Manager (DACH), your focus will be on expanding the portfolio of new large clients, identifying and developing new business opportunities and managing the existing accounts — including capital equipment manufacturers, OEMs, and resellers. You will be the primary point of contact for customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, ensuring strong relationships, customer satisfaction, and sustainable revenue growth. Responsibilities Act as the main contact for the prospective, new and existing company clients across the DACH region, ensuring client needs are met and long-term relationships are strengthened. Drive account growth by identifying upselling, cross-selling, and expansion opportunities within existing accounts. Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new prospects through trade shows, referrals, and targeted outreach. Plan and deliver customer meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations. Represent the company at relevant industry trade fairs, proactively engaging with current and potential partners. Collaborate with regional management and internal teams to align on account plans, forecasts, and go-to-market strategies. Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline visibility in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar). Track industry developments and competitor activities to inform sales strategy. Requirements 4+ years of experience in medical device or healthcare technology sales, with a focus on capital equipment sales. Proven ability to grow key accounts while also generating new business. Strong commercial acumen with experience in opportunity management and deal closing. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Medical Technology, or Business is an advantage. Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus. Proficient with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot). Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with medical technology stakeholders. Willingness to travel across the DACH region (approx. 30%).
