You’ll be responsible for the product direction of Qodana Core (which offers static analysis linters, security analysis, and integration into CI/CD and IDE workflows) and Qodana Cloud (a self-hosted or SaaS platform for managing analysis and acting on the results).In this role, you will:Shape the long-term vision for Qodana and define how it stands out in the market of developer-focused static analysis and code quality tools.Lead the product discovery process to validate product-market fit, using insights from user research, usage data, and collaboration with the Sales and Customer Success teams.Develop a strong value proposition for Qodana across different customer segments, from individual developers to large enterprises.Own and manage a cross-platform product roadmap for both Core and Cloud components, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.Work closely with engineering teams to define problems clearly and assist with solution design, delivery, and iteration.Collaborate across JetBrains products to ensure Qodana’s smooth integration into CI/CD environments and IDEs, along with a coherent user experience in them.Identify and validate new opportunities to extend Qodana’s impact – for example, in the realms of security, compliance, or AI-related code quality challenges.We’ll be thrilled for you to join our team if you have:5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B developer tools, security, or DevOps.10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.Background in developer tooling, static analysis, or application security.Proven ability to define product strategy and drive execution across multiple teams.Experience working with technical products and engineering-heavy teams.Track record of customer-centric thinking and the ability to translate user problems into product opportunities.Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the capacity to engage confidently with engineers, designers, researchers, sales, and leadership.The ability to work through both the discovery and delivery phases of product development.Bonus points for having:Understanding of CI/CD workflows and integrations.Familiarity with quality and safety concerns related to AI and ML.Experience scaling a product from early adoption to maturity.Why join the JetBrains Qodana team?Make an impact.
