Job Description
As a Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d), you will drive business growth by selling Experian’s data and solutions to the Enterprise Insurance Accounts in Germany, while building long-term customer relationships. You will also coordinate the internal sales team, represent the company at industry events, and identify market trends to enhance our offerings.
Main responsibilities:
1. Responsible for selling Experian data, solutions and services in the core target group Insurance for Germany
2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies
3. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly
4. Identify new market opportunities and manage sales pipeline
5. Coordinate the internal selling team (from consultants to senior management) around your own customers
6. Represent our company at industry events, in collaboration with other colleagues
7. Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships through excellent customer service and regular communication
8. Serve as the internal first point of contact for identifying market trends, customer needs, and innovation potential for the further development of Experian’s solution
9. Uphold and promote Experian’s core values in all interactions and activities.
Responsibility, e.g. budget, key deliverables:
10. Modernization of existing customers to the latest data products
11. Unlocking cross-selling potential (e.g., platform solutions, cloud services)
12. Expansion into a one-stop shop across risk, pricing, actuarial, identity, and fraud domains
Qualifications
13. A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
14. Several years of professional sales experience, ideally in insurance industry
15. Proven track record in sales and new customer acquisition
16. Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
17. Collaborative mindset: both in working with new clients and with internal stakeholders
18. Understanding of complex data products and services
19. Content expertise and own network in insurance industry (risk, actuariat, fraud)
Preferred Qualifications:
20. Content expertise and own network in insurance industry (risk, actuariat, fraud)
21. Familiarity with established sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Challenger, SPIN)
22. Experience in data and software-related sales (SaaS and Cloud solutions)
