AEW Automotive Systems GmbH, established in 2023, is a key branch of the AEW Group in Europe, dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering and system solutions for the global automotive industry. With a strong project portfolio involving major OEMs such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen Group, Stellantis, and Renault, AEW supports innovation in safety and intelligent vehicle systems across the European market. The German office not only leads project development but also plays a strategic role in supporting AEW's global manufacturing expansion, including in Romania and Morocco.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison between AEW and our OEM clients, ensuring client satisfaction, managing project timelines, and contributing to the company's growth in the European market. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive engineering processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key automotive OEM clients in Europe.
2. Project Oversight: Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure projects meet client expectations on timing, quality, and cost.
3. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and support the acquisition of new projects from existing and prospective clients.
4. Commercial Management: Negotiate pricing, manage quotations, and track commercial performance of assigned accounts.
5. Coordination & Reporting: Serve as the central point of contact for customer communication, feedback, and issue resolution. Provide regular internal reports on account status.
6. Strategic Support: Assist the AEW Group in aligning European customer requirements with global production strategies and capabilities.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
2. Minimum one year of experience in key account or project management within the automotive industry.
3. Proven experience working with major automotive OEMs in Europe.
4. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
5. Excellent communication skills in English and German;
6. Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally as needed.
7. High level of organization, initiative, and a customer-oriented mindset.
