As a Lead Project Manager, you play a key role in the successful realization of these projects.
Your responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex projects within your region or portfolio.
* Coordinating projects from the tender and design phases through implementation and handover to the service organization.
* Developing, monitoring, and adjusting project schedules, budgets, and progress.
* Leading and coaching project teams, including project managers, engineers, planners, designers, and installation teams.
* Chairing kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and construction coordination sessions.
* Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
* Identifying and managing risks related to quality, safety, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
* Ensuring accurate reporting, financial close-out, and KPI monitoring.
* Actively contributing to process improvements, innovation, and digitalization (such as BIM and Smart Building solutions).
* Identifying commercial opportunities and contributing to up-selling and cross-selling within projects.
What you bring
* A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical, construction, or business-related field.
* At least 7 years of experience as a project manager in complex construction, installation, or technical projects.
* Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong leadership and coaching skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
* A proactive, results-driven, and stress-resistant mindset.
* A valid Category B driving license.
* Excellent in both German and English language.
Experience and knowledge
* Experience with contract management, budget control, and financial reporting.
* Knowledge of construction and installation regulations and standards (e.g. NEN, Building Code).
* Strong stakeholder management experience in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
* Affinity with digitalization and innovative project methodologies.
Preferred skills
* Experience in coaching and mentoring (junior) project managers.
* Experience working in an international project environment.
* Knowledge of BIM, Lean, or other project management methodologies is a plus.
