Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the development and expansion of our homecare medical device business in Germany. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and retailers.
Candidates with a strong background in medical device sales and a deep understanding of the respiratory care industry are preferred. However, we also welcome applications from professionals with strong sales experience in OTC products and a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors and retailers.
Key Responsibilities
• Build, develop, and manage a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the German market for home respiratory
products.
• Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, clinics, home healthcare providers,
and distributors.
• Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, commercial terms, and distribution agreements.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for healthcare professionals, pharmacy teams, and end-users.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Work closely with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns tailored to local markets.
• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the management team.
• Represent the company at relevant trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in homecare medical devices (preferably in the respiratory care sector) or the pharmacy/OTC sector.
• Solid understanding of the German healthcare landscape, including relevant regulations.
• Proven ability to generate sales growth and manage key accounts independently.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory (up to 40–50% of the time).
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and initiative as well as team spirit.
