Description of the role The UCC Product Manager is responsible for the strategic development and lifecycle management of MVC Videra’s Unified Communication & Collaboration portfolio. The role focuses on ensuring that offerings—from Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex to Private UCC Cloud and Sovereign Platform—are market-driven, scalable, and aligned with compliance standards. Responsibilities Strategy & Portfolio Management Define and maintain the UCC product portfolio: Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Pexip Private UCC Cloud solutions Sovereign Platform (compliance-driven) Conduct market and competitor analysis Develop product strategies, positioning, and pricing models Create business cases, use cases, and ROI projections Evaluate technologies, integrations, and partnerships Lifecycle Management & Quality Manage product lifecycle (launch to phase-out) Collaborate with Engineering, Pre-Sales, and PMO on solution delivery Define and enforce product standards and documentation Manage certifications and compliance with partners Go-to-Market & Enablement Support campaigns and go-to-market planning with Marketing & Sales Create enablement materials for internal teams and partners Deliver product training and support customer engagements Contribute to RFP/RFI responses with product-focused content Vendor & Ecosystem Management Manage strategic vendor relations (Microsoft, Cisco, Pexip, RocketChat etc.) Engage Private UCC Cloud and Sovereign Platform partners Attend roadmap sessions and partner summits Negotiate product promotions and bundling Drive knowledge-sharing across the ecosystem Requirements for the role Technical Requirements Experience in UCC technologies: In-depth knowledge of solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Pexip, Zoom, CUCM, etc. Understanding of IT architectures: Familiarity with networks, security aspects, cloud infrastructures, and on-prem/hybrid models. Market knowledge: Well-versed in the UCC market, competition, trends (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR), and the needs of SMBs and enterprises. Experience in product management: Ideally 3–5 years of experience in the development and management of technical B2B products. Commercial understanding: Ability to create pricing models, calculate ROI, and develop business cases. Basic knowledge of managed services: Familiarity with SLA models, service lifecycles, and operational models (e.g., ITIL, ISO 20000) Methodical & Strategic Skills Developing product strategies: Roadmaps, market analyses, go-to-market strategies, and positioning. Agile working: Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid project methods in a product context. Lifecycle management: Knowledge in product launches, further development, and phase-out processes. Requirements management: Translating customer needs into technical requirements (e.g., using Jira, Confluence, Aha!). Personal & Social Competencies Strong communication skills: Able to engage with customers, sales, technical staff, partners, and management. Assertiveness: Clear prioritization and decision-making in the tension field between sales and technology. Team spirit: Comfortable working in cross-functional teams (e.g., engineers, sales, marketing). Analytical skills: Evaluate requirements, technologies, and trends from a business perspective. Self-responsibility & structure: Independent work with a high standard of quality. Education & Certifications Degree in business informatics, computer science, telecommunications, business administration, or equivalent. Certifications such as: PRINCE2, IPMA or PMI (project management) SAFe, CSPO or PSPO (agile product management) ITIL Foundation (service orientation) Microsoft, Cisco or Pexip certifications (technical expertise) Bonus Requirements Experience with international markets (e.g., Nordics, DACH). Understanding of GDPR-compliant AI applications in the UCC environment. Experience in partner enablement, e.g., creating materials, onboarding partners, managing partner relationships. What we offer?
