You will plan and organize the daily site activities together with your team. You will be the primary contact for customer, authorities, contractors, partners at construction site. You will align and work closely together with the project management and project team in the back office.How You’ll Make an Impact
22. Overall responsibility for all onsite works within the scope of responsibility of Siemens Energy SE GS SO EC SM GSM
23. Legal responsibility for the project site and all site personnel
24. Ensuring compliance with occupational environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements, regulations, and procedures, as well as promotion and leadership of the Zero Harm Culture within the assigned scope of responsibility
25. Representation of Project Management interests on site towards customers, authorities, contractors, partners, and consultants
26. Responsibility for onsite order execution, financial performance, schedule adherence, and quality results related to the Siemens Energy scope of work through the application of standardized tools
27. Management and documentation of deviations (non-conformances) from erection procedures, instructions, specifications, schedules, etc., including coordination of contract and claim-related activities as required
28. Escalation of issues with potential impact on scope, budget, and/or schedule
29. Coordination and controlling of corrective action scenarios, cost-evaluated risk mitigation measures, and opportunity management schemes within the disciplines
30. Review of concurrent cost accounting within the disciplines, including cost-to-complete estimations
31. Regular review of the project schedule with regard to erection activities
32. Ensuring experience and information feedback as well as maintenance of the List of Open Points (supported by the SE PE tool landscape)
33. Support of project site-specific reporting ( daily and weekly reports)
34. Ensuring closure of all open technical project changes prior to the respective milestones ( erection system completion)
What You Bring
35. Higher education degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering; Project Management certification ( IPMA, PMI or comparable) is considered an advantage
36. Extensive experience in the construction of complex industrial projects, preferably within EPC and/or consortium project environments
37. At least 5 years of onsite experience in a leading position on major construction sites, combined with solid knowledge of construction and commissioning processes and methodologies
38. In-depth knowledge of EHS policies, regulations, and practices for onsite works in complex construction projects
39. Proven ability to lead multinational teams in a fast-changing environment, supported by strong communication and leadership skills
40. Willingness to work on construction sites within Germany and internationally
