To strengthen our Platform Unit within Product & Engineering, we are looking for a
(Senior) Product Manager Core Services (m/f/d)
(Hybrid in Cologne or remote in Berlin / Full-time / Fixed-term contract: 17 months)
Your responsibilities
1. Own core platform services such as APIs, authentication, authorization, and user/permission management
2. Execute product strategy for Core Services in a SaaS platform environment and ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across all products
3. Align roadmaps, dependencies, and strategic decisions with Product Leadership
4. Analyze technical KPIs (e.g., uptime, system performance) and translate them into business impact
5. Define and evolve technical standards to enable efficient, consistent product development
6. Collaborate with Engineering, Data, and Product teams to prioritize platform initiatives
Dein Profil
Your profile
7. Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or professional experience in a related field
8. Proven professional experience as a Product Manager in SaaS or platform environments or similar and experience with KPI-driven product management and data-informed decision-making
9. Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, and scalable architectures
10. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and analytics/monitoring tools
11. A proactive, solutions-driven personality with strong communication and organizational skills – and a structured hands-on mentality
12. Business fluent English skills; German is a plus
