The Berlin Fire Department was founded in 1851, making it the oldest professional fire department in Germany. With around 5,500 employees and 35 professional fire stations, it is also the largest professional fire department in Germany. Your area of responsibility includes:
* Managing challenging IT projects of high strategic importance for the Berlin Fire Department, from planning to successful implementation
* Coordinating interdisciplinary teams and ensuring smooth cooperation between specialist departments and IT
* Developing innovative concepts for the introduction and modernization of IT systems and their implementation
* Handling fundamental matters relating to the use of IT by the Berlin Fire Department in accordance with the specifications of the Senate administrations
* Collaborating with the Berlin Fire Department's "Fire Department Staff" and recording data relevant to operations

You have:
* A completed (technical) university degree (bachelor's) in computer science, industrial engineering with a focus on IT, economics with a focus on IT, or a comparable IT field
Experience required to perform the tasks:
* Several years of experience in IT project management (e.G., PMBOK, Prince2, etc.), including agile methods (e.G., Scrum, Kanban)
* Experience in process design and organizational management (e.G., ITIL)
* Experience in conceptual work for IT project management (planning, research, concept development, administration, implementation)
* Experience in conducting requirements analyses and user training
* Experience with IT procedures and IT systems (software, databases, networks)
* Experience in business process and IT service management
* Experience in dealing with IT security and data protection (GDPR, BSI guidelines)
* Experience or project-related experience in interdisciplinary collaboration between ICT technicians and process managers
