As a Project Manager at Orise, you will be responsible for leading medium to large projects from planning through execution, ensuring delivery that meets the highest standards of quality, cost control, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will prepare project plans, calculations, and quotations. Furthermore, you will structure projects into clear subprojects, supervise (Senior) Lead Engineers and other subproject leaders, and define responsibilities within the project team. With multiple project employees under your guidance, you will ensure strong collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous development of all team members.
You will consistently apply ABM methods across daily project work. You will follow and enforce all safety instructions, report unsafe situations or incidents, conduct Task Risk Analyses (TRA) when required, and ensure safe behavior across your projects.
Lead medium to large-scale technical projects, ensuring professional delivery across quality, cost, time, and resources.
Prepare project planning, budgeting, calculations, and customer quotations.
Structure projects into sub‑projects and supervise (Senior) Lead Engineers and sub‑project leads.
Assign responsibilities and support the training and development of project staff.
Ensure excellent cooperation, flexibility, and technical quality across the entire project team.
Engage actively in Centers of Excellence (especially CoE PMO) and integrate CoE activities into project planning.
Apply ABM methodologies consistently within day-to-day project management.
Drive strong relationships with customers and ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct Task Risk Analyses (TRA) when applicable and ensure EHS considerations are included in project schedules.
Along with a finished bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field such as mechanical or automation engineering, with relevant experience in:
Existing experience as a (Senior) Lead Engineer or Junior Project Manager.
Strong project management expertise with high technical and organizational competence.
Experience with an ERP system would be a benefit. Preferred SAP Fiori.
Proven ability to involve project staff in CoE activities and support knowledge sharing.
PMI or project management certification is an advantage.
Effective communication in German and English language
