Project / Subproject Manager for EO Payloads & Missions (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
1. Establishment, supervision, development, and technical leadership of the project team to ensure appropriate team performance
2. Holding regular project meetings
3. Interface and responsible person towards the program manager, customers, suppliers
4. Regular reporting on the status of the project / sub-project with all relevant stakeholders
5. Monitoring and controlling the technical progress, schedule, cost, and quality of the project
6. Responsibility for accurate and timely resource planning for the project in collaboration with the project manager, department and team leaders and HR Business Partner
7. Definition of the project / sub-project schedule and definition and implementation of the budget allocation for the project / sub-project
8. Implementation of the OHB risk management process in the project and performance of regular risk assessments within the project team, implementation of risk mitigation measures
9. Definition / Establishment of work orders for the operational units
10. Supporting the project team with operational tasks as required
Your Qualifications
11. Degree in engineering, preferable with a specialization in aerospace, or a comparable qualification, e. g. physics or industrial engineering
12. Several years of experience as a project / sub-project manager (m/f/d) in another company or several years of professional experience in a technically related position in space projects
13. High level of communication and leadership skills as well as assertiveness, a sense of responsibility and an entrepreneurial mindset
14. Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility, negotiation skills, flexibility and an effective and independent way of working
15. Ability to work in a team, flexibility, commitment, and resilience round off your profile
16. Good written and spoken English language skills
17. Relevant knowledge of common MS Office and project management tools (MS Project & Planisware)
18. Willingness to travel
19. Project management certification is an advantage ( IPMA)
