Electrify Chemical Processes with AI Innovation
We are seeking a highly skilled Applied AI Research Assistant to contribute to the development of innovative concepts for the electrification of chemical processes and implementation of circular economy strategies. This exciting project involves collaboration with industrial partners from the chemical sector using automated high-throughput simulations and neural networks to create digital twins of existing processes and novel concepts.
Your key responsibilities will include developing methods for applying generative AI to the creation of process simulations, working closely with chemical engineers in the project team who provide domain expertise on chemical processes, and utilizing commercial process simulation software to process the input generated by the AI.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong educational background in AI, process engineering, or chemical engineering, as well as theoretical and practical experience in modifying, training, and applying AI. Proficiency in Python is also essential, along with strong teamwork and communication skills.
