Job Summary
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to leaders at all levels on all HR-related and labor law matters. You will actively shape and support change initiatives and contribute to the implementation of an effective HR strategy at the German site in alignment with overall business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted sparring partner to leaders at all levels on all HR and labor law mattersProvide proactive advice on organizational development, workforce and succession planning, talent management, and performance management topicsManage the full employee lifecycle from hiring to terminationAdvise on and implement individual HR measures in compliance with applicable labor law requirementsIndependently manage the recruitment of specialists and leadership positionsInitiate, lead, and support HR projects as well as cross-functional change initiatives self-responsiblyMaintain a constructive and trust-based collaboration with the works councilEnsure professional and solution-oriented communication in all co-determination mattersIndependently design, draft, and negotiate works agreements in close coordination with the works councilStrategic support of re-organization measuresRepresentation of the organization in court proceedings concerning the area of responsibilityClose collaboration with HR Payroll, HR Business Support, HR Business Partners and HR Managers of all German locationsEducation
University degree in Human Resources, Business Law, Business Administration, or a comparable qualificationWork Experience
Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in both operational and strategic HR rolesExperience in an international manufacturing environment preferredExperience with HR business systems (i.e. Ultimate, SuccessFactors, SAP HCM) and MS Office applications would be preferredPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Familiarity with workplace laws, regulations, employment trends, strong understanding of labor law, collective agreements, unions and works councils.Work effectively under pressure whilst not compromising professional standards.Can work both independently and as part of a team.Objective, approachable and able to interact effectively with all levels of employees both in person and virtually in a positive and respectful manner.Strong communication both written and oral.Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive issues and handling sensitive confidential data to meet data privacy compliance requirements.Work with minimum of supervision.Self-Organization, time management and prioritization. #LI-NJ1 #LI-HybridTravel Requirements

Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role. This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
