KBR activities range from the conceptual design of technology solutions for plant engineering, through basic and detail engineering, to the supply of proprietary equipment and subsequent commissioning.
Position Description:
Responsibility for the planning, structuring and delivery of industrial chemical process plant projects.
Participation in the preparation of offers, presentation of project contents and examination of technical and commercial contract components
coordination of interdisciplinary and international project teams across all project phases.
Ensuring the achievement of project goals in terms of budget, deadlines, quality and contractual obligations
Organization and control of efficient project processes as well as interface management between the departments and partners involved
Responsibility for project cost planning, cost control and economic control
Monitoring compliance with payment milestones and on-time invoicing
Creation and tracking of schedules and evaluation of project progress
Proactive control of changes in the project scope (change management)
Creation of regular reports and forecasts for PSL Management and Operations Leadership (bi-weekly reviews and PSR meetings)
Communication with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders as well as organization and moderation of project, customer and supplier meetings
Management of the procurement process and coordination of the delivery of plant equipment
Interface management between project team, export control and logistics to ensure smooth processes
Requirements
Completed studies and working experience as a Discipline Engineer
Experienced in industrial projects in chemicals, petrochemicals, fertilizers, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or related process‑industry sectors.
Industrial chemical process technologies, proprietary equipment packages, and technology licensors.
Relevant experience as Project Manager would be preferred
Good team player, experience working with multi-national teams
English & German communication skills
Self-driven and self-motivated personality
