It is 100 % Remote - customer visits expected on 2 days / week ; 2 trips annually, to respectively Germany and UK for team meetings, and once a quarter to Norway What you will be doing: Design IN and WIN of Vishay Semiconductors and Passive Components Maximise the future business of all Vishay components by identifying all potential sockets in applications and leveraging the BOM content towards Vishayu2019s broad portfolio Define new products and derivatives in close cooperation with Marketing and R&D Act as internal technical interface between Sales, Marketing and R&D Manage projects in cooperation with Sales and Marketing to achieve product qualification and revenue Prepare and perform technical and application training Roles and Responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager Role: Report to the Director Sales North Europe Responsible for defining and executing on a strategy and growth plan for distributor branches and defined focus customers in the assigned area. Build and maintain strong relationships within Distributor branches at all levels Be the primary interface for Branch Managers, Product Managers and defined Focus customers Grow the channel business in the assigned area Conduct QBRs and regular distribution product training for key distributor branches Drive POS revenue growth, gain market share, fill and manage the design pipeline, increase project wins. Cooperate with Regional Marketing in EMEA to increase branch / distributor engagement and focus accounts to overachieve growth targets Understand Vishayu2019s share and ranking at the distributor, the branches and dedicated focus accounts and increase mind share to accelerate profitable revenue growth.
