We are seeking a highly driven Product Manager to oversee the complete product lifecycle from planning, localization, and homologation to end-to-end GTM execution and sales performance management. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, market awareness, and the ability to translate customer and field insights into actionable strategies. The Product Manager will play a key role in ensuring local compliance, competitive positioning, sales readiness, and sustainable sales growth for Geely’s product portfolio in the German market.
About the Role

You will own the GTM strategy and execution for assigned product lines, bridging R&D, marketing, sales, and regulatory teams to drive successful product launches and maximize market penetration. Your core mission is to ensure products not only meet local compliance standards but also deliver strong commercial performance by aligning with customer needs and competitive dynamics.
Core Responsibilities
1. Product Lifecycle & GTM Strategy Management
* Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle including planning, specification alignment, homologation, GTM strategy formulation, product launch execution, post-launch performance tracking, and product phase-out planning.
* Define and maintain a data-driven product roadmap aligned with business objectives, local regulations, and sales volume targets.
* Coordinate with R&D, HQ, logistics, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery across all product stages, with a focus on timely launch execution and sales readiness.
* Lead cross-functional GTM teams to develop launch plans, including pricing strategy, distribution channel alignment, and sales target setting, to drive rapid market uptake.
2. Market & Field Insights for Commercial Success
* Conduct regular on-ground surveys, dealer visits, and user feedback sessions to capture market trends, customer expectations, competitor movements, and unmet sales opportunities.
* Translate findings into actionable inputs for product localization, feature prioritization, pricing adjustments, and GTM tactic optimization to boost sales conversion.
* Track and analyze post-launch sales data, customer satisfaction metrics, and dealer performance to identify gaps and refine product and sales strategies.
3. Sales Enablement & Dealer Performance Optimization
* Conduct frequent product briefings, technical walkthroughs, and GTM-focused training for Sales Advisors (SAs) and dealer staff to enhance product knowledge and sales confidence.
* Develop and deliver targeted sales tools, competitive comparison kits, FAQ documents, and GTM playbooks to equip frontline teams with actionable selling strategies.
* Collaborate with sales leadership to monitor dealer product adoption rates, address sales barriers, and drive alignment with regional sales targets.
4. Competitive Intelligence & Market Positioning
* Continuously monitor competitor products, pricing, specifications, technology trends, and their GTM and sales tactics.
* Develop internal reports and strategy briefs to guide product differentiation, pricing decisions, and competitive countermeasures that strengthen market share.
5. Product Marketing & GTM Execution Collaboration
* Lead cross-functional collaboration with the marketing team to refine GTM strategy, core product messaging, and positioning tailored to the German market.
* Provide product expertise for marketing collaterals, launch events, digital campaigns, and sales promotions to ensure consistent and compelling customer communication.
* Measure the effectiveness of GTM and marketing initiatives by tracking key metrics (e.g., launch reach, lead conversion rate, sales velocity) and optimize tactics accordingly.
6. Software & Feature Evaluation for Market Fit
* Conduct software evaluation and testing for new OS or beta releases prior to product launch, with a focus on features that drive customer appeal and sales competitiveness.
* Liaise with engineering and HQ to validate new functions, identify software bugs, and ensure product features align with local customer preferences and sales priorities.
7. Product Training & GTM Capability Building
* Design and deliver internal and external product training programs for new model launches and feature rollouts, with a strong emphasis on GTM and sales enablement content.
* Ensure consistent product knowledge and GTM execution capabilities across sales, aftersales, and customer-facing teams to drive uniform performance.
8. Homologation & Regulatory Compliance
* Coordinate with HQ and local authorities to ensure all product variants meet homologation, regulatory, and certification requirements, eliminating barriers to timely market launch.
* Manage documentation, testing schedules, and local adaptation necessary for type approval and product release, with a focus on minimizing delays to GTM timelines.
* Track changes in local automotive regulations and ensure timely compliance updates to avoid disruptions to sales and product availability.
9. Post-Launch Sales Performance Management
* Monitor key sales metrics (e.g., volume, market share, dealer inventory turnover) post-launch and develop corrective actions for underperforming products.
* Collaborate with sales and aftersales teams to address customer feedback and product issues that impact sales retention and brand loyalty.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
1. Professional Experience
* At least 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the automotive or EV industry, with proven experience in end-to-end GTM strategy execution and sales performance management.
* Knowledge of automotive homologation and regulatory processes in the EU/German market is preferred.
