AsHead of Aftersales Technik, you will take full responsibility for building and continuously improving our technical aftersales operations on a global scale. With a proven track record in leading aftersales teams and implementing global service initiatives, you play a key role in driving efficiency and maximizing revenue. Your expertise in vehicle diagnostics and repair completes your profile.
Your responsibilities:
* Take ownership of building and shaping our global aftersales organization, including related services and infrastructure across various markets
* Advise management on the development and execution of our technical aftersales strategy and ensure that initiatives align with overall company strategy
* Collaborate with our development teams to define and implement the optimal global strategy for vehicle maintenance and repair
* Serve as the voice of the customer within the company and ensure that the total cost of ownership (TCO) of our vehicles remains attractive and competitive
* Define actionable service level agreements that ensure high customer satisfaction
* Ensure that all technical requirements in aftersales meet the highest quality standards, including the digitally connected provision of relevant information from vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting, repair manuals, tools, and spare parts
* Develop and provide relevant customer literature
* Make strategic make-or-buy decisions based on thorough analysis
* Provide technical support to teams such as product management, development, and manufacturing
* Work closely with your operations counterpart to ensure a top-tier, cross-regional aftersales service for customers worldwide
* Continuously develop initiatives to reduce costs and improve service quality
Your profile
* Degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable discipline
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in the technical leadership of an aftersales unit in the automotive industry
* Proven knowledge of how to build successful aftersales teams – from functional structures to leading and motivating large international teams
* In-depth expertise in all technical aftersales topics – from workshop setup to fault diagnostics and technical documentation – and how to turn them into outstanding customer service
* Experience in strategic workshop and field service planning
* Proven success in the sales of aftersales products and services, along with the ability to coach your team in practical application
* Solid technical understanding and extensive experience in aftersales-appropriate product development, fault diagnostics, repair, and product influence – with an awareness of challenges and workflows in workshops and service units
* Excellent communication skills in both English and German, at both operational and strategic levels
