Role Overview
* Strategic responsibility for IT Procurement
* Active contribution to innovation, efficiency and risk management across procurement processes
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement category strategies, including KPI definition and value tracking
* Optimise contracts and volumes while driving process standardisation and efficiency
* Manage suppliers and contracts professionally and sustainably
* Support Vendor Management for IT and business process outsourcing initiatives (national & international)
* Implement regulatory requirements, including DORA, in operational practice
* Identify supplier risks early and define effective mitigation measures
* Lead negotiations, from market screening and due diligence to pricing and contracts
* Contribute to the ongoing development of Procurement & Vendor Management and cross-departmental projects
Your Profile
* Vocational training in banking or a degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, IT, law, engineering)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in strategic procurement of services
* Strong experience with procurement suites and digitalised procurement processes
* Confident communicator with assertiveness and strong conflict-management skills
* Ideally familiar with banking regulation (MaRisk, EBA Guidelines, DORA)
* Structured, independent and hands-on working style with high quality standards
* Professional stakeholder and supplier management mindset
* Very good German and English skills
