Responsabilities:
The Sales Manager is in charge of:
* Achieves Sales goals defined in coordination with General Manager and Company Sales Team
* Implements strategies to improve market penetration and sales productivity
* Increases sales volume and profitability by formulating and executing projects for all market areas as stated in the Hotel Business Plan
* Improves call productivity monitoring and tracking results and analyses sales statistics to formulate profitability
* Reviews market analysis to define client needs, occupancy potential, desired rates, etc
* Negotiates with clients to achieve maximum profit while satisfying client needs
* Meets the budgeted Sales results and profit margins by soliciting, evaluating, selling and confirming business
* Plans for and implements strategies to maintain and increase the volume of business thorough Sales promotion
* Monitors the Sales' Department’s budget, taking corrective actions for any deviation
* Maintains accurate Sales statistics and account records and provides feedback to General Manager on changing market conditions and trends in competition
Requirements:
* Quality management skills are needed
* Several years of sales experience in Italy preferably at a high-level Hotel, as well as an established network in Italy
* Italian and English confidence are mandatory. German language skills are a plus
* Great attention to details, problem solving, punctuality, proactivity, flexibility and team working skills
* Master degree preferably
