The Role
As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of large-scale solar projects across Germany, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, manage external contractors, and oversee the entire project lifecycle—from development and permitting to construction and commissioning.
This role is remote-based within Germany, with 1–2 visits per month to the company’s German office.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage utility-scale Solar PV projects, from development to commercial operation.
* Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
* Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams.
* Handle permitting processes and ensure seamless grid connection.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, contractors, and local authorities.
* Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices.
Your Profile
* Fluent in German and English (essential).
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in the utility-scale Solar PV sector.
* Strong track record of delivering projects of 20 MW+ capacity.
* In-depth knowledge of EPC contract management, grid connection, and permitting processes.
* Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Willingness to travel within Germany for occasional site and office visits.
