About the Client
Our client has been awarded multiple €multi-million mechanical packages as part of a new Phase 1 hyperscale Data Centre project in Frankfurt, supporting two Tier‑1 general contractors. As the appointed mechanical subcontractor, they are scaling their team for long-term delivery across pipework, PH, and ventilation systems. A strong pipeline of secured projects ensures reliable, ongoing employment.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale mechanical packages within data centre construction. The role requires strong background in industrial mechanical works (pipework, PH, HVAC, or heavy MEP) and the ability to manage subcontractor interface, cost, quality, and schedule for complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of mechanical installation packages (pipework, PH systems, ventilation).
* Oversee construction managers, supervisors, and engineering staff on-site.
* Manage cost reporting, progress reporting, and project schedules in line with Tier‑1 GC requirements.
* Ensure compliance with QA/QC, technical documentation, and client standards.
* Interface directly with the GC, consultants, and client representatives.
* Report regularly to the Mechanical Director on project performance and resourcing needs.
* Drive site safety culture, ensuring adherence to company and local HSE standards.
What You Bring
* 8+ years’ experience in large-scale mechanical projects (accepting only data centres or pharma, ).
* Strong leadership background in project/program management within mechanical construction.
* Thorough knowledge of pipework, HVAC, PH, or mechanical building services.
* Successful track record of delivering €multi-million packages.
* Fluent in English (essential); German is an advantage but not required.
* Willingness to be site-based in Frankfurt.
