We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Product Owner (f/m/d) with experience in digital wealth management for our Digital Business team. You will be part of our global Digital Business team and drive AllianzGI's Digital Wealth Management Program forward by further developing and running the Portfolio Builder application, which is the key product for making our investment advisory capabilities, in particular portfolio construction, available to strategic distribution partners. The Product Owner will report to the Head of Digital Business. In addition to becoming part of global Digital Business team, you will automatically join an open-minded, business and tech combining team committed to make “simplicity at scale” happen. We are working in a product-based setup with agile delivery methods. We are passionate about bringing our unique wealth management expertise to our distribution partners - with the means of state-of-the-art technology (e.g. cloud-based services). The position is based in our Frankfurt am Main office. What you will do As the Product Owner for the Portfolio Builder, you are responsible for maximizing the value of this product and the operative results of the Portfolio Builder Squad. By effectively managing the “what” of the squad’s efforts, you as the Product Owner align the squad's work with our overarching digital wealth management strategy. Prepare and conduct ideation workshops in order to maintain a regular flow of innovative ideas Collaboratively define product vision, strategy and roadmap for the Portfolio Builder Collaborate with area business and area tech lead to give input on Area OKRs Align with internal and external stakeholders, in particular solution owners, business developers and distribution partners and manage expectations Reaffirm priorities and clarify the requirements during squad iteration planning Build squad backlog in terms of epics and user stories, prioritize its items to achieve business goals and continuously keep backlog up-to-date Ensure understanding of functional requirements (in particular regarding risklab’s portfolio construction methodology and Capital Markets Model) Collect non-functional requirements and ensure their compliance Interact with other Squads and Areas as part of Squad synchronization events to plan and implement cross-Squad tasks Define the test management process, coordinate the test phases and execute the tests Coordinate change request processes and projects for the product Define set of necessary competences in Squad together with Chapter Leads Responsible for compliance, governance and adherence to regulatory requirements Act as a role model by creating an atmosphere of confidence and trust in Squad Coordinate development stages - be a key player throughout each event, including planning, refinement and review Presentation of the product capabilities for stakeholder Supervise the product progress and make it transparent to the Squad Definition of Squad OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and alignment of Squad towards these Objectives Making use of Responsible AI What you bring You should have significant (min 5 years) working experience in creating business opportunities from new ideas, either from working within a business development department, or within a product development department. Work Experience in a startup (environment) would be a plus A deep understanding of the asset / wealth management industry with capital markets expertise is required. Financial modelling expertise would be a plus Expertise in the requirement analysis process for the further development of the product strategy Expertise in the regulation MiFID and the usage in wealth management applications in the different countries Expertise in co-creation with IT teams, in particular in agile development projects Expertise in working as a product owner in agile setups and be familiar with the agile manifest and ceremonies Knowledge in leading product roadmap and OKR methods Solid knowledge of digital operating models and co-creation with external vendors. Strong leadership skills with the ability to persuade and motivate others to act, without direct authority Excellent communication skills as moderator, facilitator, coach and advisor.
