Job Description
* As part of our development team, you will actively drive the further development of our accounting software
* You will identify and analyse accounting and tax requirements and derive the necessary adjustments for our customers
* You will define clear guidelines for customer-friendly and comprehensive implementation of these legal requirements
* You will be a competent contact person for your teammates for all questions relating to accounting and annual financial statements
* You can expect varied tasks in areas such as GoBD, e-balance sheets, online banking and e-invoicing
* You will be in constant communication with the product owner, stakeholders and customer support, and will also work across team boundaries to find joint solutions
Qualifications
* You have completed training as a tax clerk or (balance sheet) accountant, or you have comparable knowledge and skills as well as professional experience in this field.
* You are familiar with the German Commercial Code (HGB), Value Added Tax Act (UStG) and Income Tax Act (EStG) and are able to prepare legal texts in a way that is easy to understand.
* Ideally, you have already gained experience as a requirements engineer or business analyst and have a good understanding of these areas of activity
* You are characterised by initiative, team spirit and an independent and flexible way of working
* You have very good German (at least C1) and good English skills, enabling you to communicate in our English-German-speaking teams
