Aufgabengebiet:
This position offers a unique setup: during the first year, you will work in an integrated transatlantic model (approximately 50% in Aachen, Germany, and 50% in Plymouth, Indiana, USA). This allows you to build in-depth technical knowledge, familiarize yourself with our production systems, and gain hands-on experience in both environments.
After this initial phase, you will transition into a long-term role in Plymouth, Indiana (USA), under a local employment contract, contributing to the ongoing development and optimization of our operations.
* Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and industrial equipment
* Troubleshooting and root cause analysis in production environments
* Supporting batch-based production processes, particularly within the food industry
* Execution of preventive maintenance and continuous improvement measures
* Documentation of maintenance activities in line with company and regulatory standards
* Collaboration with cross-functional and international teams in Germany and the U.S.
* After relocation: Ensuring reliable plant operations and further development of technical standards on-site
Ihr Profil:
* Completed vocational training as a Certified Electrician / Industrial Electrician / Mechatronics Technician or comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in the food industry or in the technical support of batch-based process production systems
* Very good hands-on experience in the maintenance and servicing of industrial equipment
* Good knowledge of EPLAN (e.g., EPLAN Electric P8) for electrical design, documentation, and troubleshooting
* Strong problem-solving skills combined with a structured and reliable way of working
* Willingness to work in an international setup during the first year (approx. 50% Germany / 50% USA)
* Willingness to permanently relocate to Plymouth, Indiana (USA) after 12 months, including the ability to meet U.S. visa requirements
* Very good English and good German language skills (written and spoken)
* High level of intercultural openness and adaptability. Team-oriented mindset combined with a high degree of personal responsibility
We will support your training on site in Aachen and your transition to the USA in a professional and structured manner. This includes assistance with finding accommodation and guidance throughout the U.S. visa application process.
