1. support and assist the purchasing manager with strategic supplier management
2. actively participate in projects aimed at optimizing the entire purchasing process
3. further develop and implement material group strategies
4. build, maintain, and optimize a global supplier network
5. identify and evaluate suppliers both domestically and internationally
6. negotiate contracts, schedules, and terms with suppliers

7. you have several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally in the medium-sized mechanical and plant engineering sector
8. you are a skilled negotiator, both nationally and internationally
9. you have excellent knowledge of erp systems and microsoft office, particularly excel
10. you are fluent in both english and german
