YOUR TASKS:
* Manage new development projects inside Global Engineering focused on Software activities across the different Nordex portfolio platforms, assuring budget, quality and timeline of the project.
* Processing the project scope with interdisciplinary project teams (mainly but not limited to Engineering and Service).
* Evaluation of project ideas and support up to approval.
* Align schedule and scope of own projects across the product platform with other project managers.
* Report to the program director of Turbine Serial Development as well as escalation to relevant committees Coordination of the necessary resources with line and project managers.
* Coordination of technical aspects and risk management with chief engineers and divisional management.
* Organization of prototype tests and ramp-up activities in the operation areas.
YOUR PROFILE:
* Diploma/Master's in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or similar.
* Project Management experience required (PM certification preferred).
* Several years of experience in wind turbine industry, preferably on electrical and control functions.
* Very good MS office skills (including MS Project Server).
* Experience in an ERP and PLM system is advantageous.
* Team worker, customer & solution oriented, clear and structured communication and leadership skills. High quality awareness and assertiveness.
* Intercultural experience necessary.
* Fluent in English. Beneficial skills in Spanish and German.
* Experience: Relevant experience in an Engineering or project management position in wind industry.
* Availability to travel.
