What you'll do You'll be the technical backbone of productions from first concept to final show – working closely with the head project manager, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing suppliers, overseeing CAD drawings, and leading the team on-site. Concretely: • End-to-end technical project management (scope, timelines, budgets, risk mitigation) • Technical direction: show design, lights, lasers, visuals – translating creative vision into executable plans • Supplier management and on-site technical supervision (set-up and show) • Safety compliance, quality control, research and troubleshooting • Staff planning, logistics, and office coordination • Working with tools including Vectorworks, Asana, Slack, Google Workspace The role is hybrid (Berlin office base), with international travel to shows worldwide. The scope of your responsibilities will evolve based on your experience and ambitions – for the right person, there is a genuine path toward technical team lead. What we're looking for • Several years of experience in live event or entertainment production (technical side) • A track record of managing complex technical projects – reliably, calmly, on budget • Strong communicator who can lead a technical team under pressure at a major international event • Fluent English (must); German or other languages are a plus • Familiarity with CAD software, ideally Vectorworks • Valid international driver's license and passport with unrestricted travel capability, including visa processing The team This is an an open-minded, creative, and communicative international team.
